Huckabee Attacks McCain: Freepers Heads Exploding!! Pass the Popcorn

CNN) – Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said Friday the John McCain made a "huge mistake" by even floating the possibility he would not appear at the first presidential debate as planned.

“You can’t just say, ‘World stop for a moment. I’m going to cancel everything,” Huckabee told the Associated Press Thursday.

He also criticized McCain's campaign when it alleged Obama's "lipstick on a pig" comments was an intended slight at Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin.

I wonder how long it took for CNN to find a notable Republican to say what they wanted.
I swear, these people have no shame.

Mike Huckabee needs to keep his gigantic mouth shut.

There is an election at jeopardy here, and giving the Democrats and the media talking points is about as asinine as it gets.

Mike, if you can’t do better than this, I fear you’re going to destroy yourself on your new FoxNews show.

This statement was pitiful.

Huckabee is clueless as usual. McCain showed leadership and humility while Obama looked like a petulant child.

14. They thought Palin did great...
...and Couric was a bitch. True. I read it yesterday. They all agreed.

Doesn't anyone here have an account there. Someone needs to go over there and be "concerned" about the fact that McCain is showing the country that he's only capable of handling one situation at a time.

24. Palin and McCain could both "stoke out" during the debates
and the FReeps would say it was really a display of strength aimed at tell Putin to not f*ck with Georgia.

I keep telling myself to check out one of their DC pow-wows just so I can see what pod people really look like.

5. Did Huckabee really cover for Wright?
That would be kind of ironic: From what I know of the guy, he's not racist and favours a relatively progressive line on issues of immigrant rights. Mind you, the guy's a rapturist nut and is a bigot regarding virtually everything else, but he's not racist.

But then why is he a Southern Baptist minister? The SBC is splinter group from the American Baptist Convention that was formed in the 1830s by pro-slavery Southern Whites angered by the radical abolitionist line taken by African-American and Yankee congregations.

18. Time once again for a reference to Canadian lit.
The protagonist of The Stone Angel, Margaret Laurence's seminal novel, was very elderly and on the last steps of her life and had gone through what's called a "second childhood", an experience many seniors go through at the end of their life. Could this be McLame's second childhood?

Do those people actually believe that the stunt McSame pulled exhibited leadership? All I saw was a desperate attempt to capture the news cycle in order to slow or possibly stop his campaign's downward spiral in the polls. By the way, just because he was able to grab the news cycle doesn't mean the outcome will be in his favor. As a matter of fact it's already clear that it hurt his credibility considerably by listening to todays news cycle. Simply put McLame fucked himself hard with that dumb ass maneuver and meanwhile, back at the ranch...Pinocchio Palin ain't doing him any favors lately either. There own base is cringing every time sound comes out of that lipsticked pie hole.
