So a bailout deal is reached....
so why are they meeting at the WH this afternoon other than McCain getting his photo-ops and looking like he brought the parties together to reach the deal?

What in the world are they going to discuss? There already is an agreement with the bailout deal!

When the doors to the meeting close and the media leaves, Obama should get up and say, "gentlemen, I have a campaign to run, you got your photo-op, I am going to prepare for the debate which the American people deserve....see ya in Mississippi."

6. I don't understand how he can interfere that much? He's just one vote.
Just a senator with one vote. He's not the freakin' president.

8. Yup.. can't be "un-fixed" until after 8pm tomorrow night..
McCain hasn't been studying this week.. he's been to busy throwing hail-mary passes.. so no deal can be done until after the debate.

3. There are some parts of it that aren't a done deal, which is what they'll be
working out at the WH meeting (per Barney Frank in the news conference -- things may have changed since then.)

4. If they agreed to this shit the Democrats deserve to lose.
I'm stunned by their stupidity.
