How exactly does McCain plan on fixing this mess?
He's suspended his campaign and he's going back to Washington. He's pulled all his ads, which makes no sense because they certainly don't require any of his attention in order to air.

So how does all of that help me ... or you or the guy down the block? How does it help our economy?

Is he going to back Bush's plan completely? Is he going to offer amendments to Bush's plan? Is he going to offer his own plan instead? Why does he have to drop everything and return to Washington in order to do any of that?

Now Bush has invited both of them to the White House. WTF is going on? Is this simply a desperate campaign's political theater or are they trying to pull something?

2. Why would he pull his ads unless he's quitting the campaign?
Honestly, it doesn't make any sense, unless someone told him that NOT campaigning is somehow going to work for him.

3. McCain is going to claim all the credit for the bailout when it passes
All the Repukes will talk about his "leadership" and "decisive action" that "led to a breakthrough".
