Game Changing Event
McCain just made the biggest mistake ever in any presidential campaign. This is worse than the Dukakis tank moment.

He opened the door wide for Obama to appear more presidential than I ever thought possible and gave him an opening to explain how presidents must be capable of concentrating on multiple events.

McCain made the biggest gaffe in presidential history. It's all over but the crying now.

5. If only McShame's head would actually explode. . .
on TeeVee so I can see it!

For once all this political drama isn't making me uptight. Barack is so cool, so in control--every time he speaks I feel reassured in every way. Thank you, John McShame for giving my president another opportunity to look oh so presidential.

3. Yes it is. We need days like this!
It's been a rollercoaster for weeks now since the Palin announcement. Things are looking very good for us now, but we can't lose focus! But I'm damn well sure going to celebrate this as a massive victory today and get to work spreading the information out there.

7. I disagree.
It hasn't been a roller coaster, and this isn't a game changer.

IT's been a long steady descent for McCain, and this is simply the last nail in the coffin.

9. You may very well be right
The way Obama has handled this - and the way McCain read his statement and walked away - shows who has what it takes to be president. I think the message that drips down to low info voters is simple: McCain panicked and Obama stood strong.

11. I know most people are happy about this, but I am actually FURIOUS.
They are once again trying to hijack our democracy. It's the most important Presidential election of my lifetime... of many people's lifetimes... and he's trying to cheat the public out of their chance to fully understand where the candidates stand on the issues.

Maybe if this completely backfires on McCain in a dramatic fashion I will take some pleasure in this later. But for right now, I am absolutely fucking furious.

15. So how great would it be if Obama showed up in Miss for the debates
and McLiar didn't show? Obama could have 90 mins to address the public and answer questions that would've been posed in the debate. If McLiar does show up now, he will likely have a total breakdown since he didn't want to be there, and he will look like a little bitch because he couldn't walk out on the debates.

Either way, I think the situation is to our benefit.
