Anyone else think that McCain just had a medical emergency?
That's why he's trying to postpone the debate AND why he is suspending his campaign (no more campaign stops.)

39. I wonder -- someone on another thread suggested that he has had a stroke
But it is hard to imagine that he would want to cancel the debate, unless there was something serious going on (besides the economic crisis, that is)

14. yeah, i bet he had a medical emergency
like shitting his pants when his manager was found with his hand in the Freddie Mac till. three days before a debate. where the financial crisis would undoubtedly be a lead topic.

21. maybe - did you see the picture of him yesterday just sticking his tongue out?
Metro ran it but I can't find it online. He is shaking hands on one of those barricade lines and he just has his tongue out like Michael Jordan going in for a dunk. But it actually looks like a mental thing -- like his McBrain is having trouble controlling his McBody.

24. They're trying to find a replacement head.

There's actually more than mere hyperbole here. The McCain campaign is in intensive care. His campaign manager (Davis) is breathing through a straw right now, with the revelation that he's LIED about being on the pad for this entire fiasco.

McCain is on the edge of LOSING everything ... meltdown ... down in flames. He's piloting another crash. He's grasping at straws.

Now is not the time to give him even an inch ... DESTROY the motherfuckers!

30. I was absolutely thinking this because of the campaign suspension.
What exactly will McCain be doing between now and the end of the bailout resolution? Cheerleading?
Other members of his party in the Senate should be leading on this, not him. What exactly can he bring to the table, an abacus perhaps.
