As an emergency physician, if I were taking care of a 72-year-old man with a history of melanoma who was having episodes of confusion I would be extremely concerned. High on my priority list would be to get a brain MRI to look for metastatic melanoma. When melanoma metastasizes it commonly goes to the brain. I do not think the American people should decide whether or not to vote for Senator McCain until he has had a brain MRI and we know the results.

Here's a quote from emedicine.com on melanoma:

"Melanoma has an increased incidence among other systemic cancers in terms of metastasizing to the brain. About 40-60% of patients with melanoma will have brain metastasis. Melanoma commonly metastasizes to the brain. Melanoma cells are closely related to CNS cells due to their embryonic origin and neural crest cells, and they share common antigens such as MAG-1 and MAG-2. After melanoma is detected in the brain, median survival is 3 months. These metastases are poorly responsive to all treatments."

His chances of surviving even 2 years of a presidency are NOT GOOD! Essentially the repubs are voting for a dead man. They must be made to understand that S. Palin is NOT a competent person to run this country.

3. Doesn't matter to them. She's more interesting to watch.

They know that neither of them would actually run the country anyway. The people who will run the country are the ones who are training her now. The same ones that trained GW Bush in 1999 and 2000. And the ones who are "operating" McCain right now.

4. The trainers are overlooking or ignoring the power her husband has

over her. He is her puppeteer!!!

5. The public needs to see McBush's health records beyond

a 3 hour browse by journalists of selected pages. We also need Mooseburger's tax records. Most believe she didn't pay taxes on that per diem money which is why the records are under wraps. Don't they want to know before she follows in the footsteps of Spiro Agnew?
