I'm pissed that she is demeaning women by insisting on light weight treatment for her inadequate self.

Any female that votes for Palin BECAUSE she is a woman is demeaning all of us and validating that we can't handle being treated at the highest standard, as men are.

4. It's very sexist to give her special treatment, but it's really because
she's a dim bulb they don't want exposed.

8. Actually, its sexist for McCain to ask for special treatment for her.
It shows he doesn't think she is up to the task which we all know anyway.

I wish it would get play in the media. Maybe in the coming week.

7. Everywhere.
I also can't stand how McCain took over Alaska, like Palin can't take care of that situation on her own. I'm really mad at that.

13. You mean Asst. Gov. Todd Palin couldn't take care of it...
Doesn't seem like Gov. Palin did anything on her own.

12. the repugs are being horribly sexist in protecting from media, be gentle
special protection at debate. they are also thriving on the sexism in she is hot.... that is all we need from a woman in any position. her husband makes her decision for her as she claims she is feminist. charges victims for investigation into their rape.

horrible representation for women

and shame on her for allowing it

15. It upsets me, too. You are not alone!
Why should she get preferential treatment? Imagine if a man was on the ticket. They wouldn't do that to him! It's sickening. And I'm sure they wouldn't have done it with Senator Clinton, although she is much tougher than the Guv. It makes me ill.

16. I am a 32 year old woman and it pisses me off
she should not get special treatment. Its sickening. Say what you will about Hillary (many here still don't like her, I prefered Obama but didn't "hate" her). Hillary never asked for special treatment in ANY debate. She accused the media of kissing Barack's butt but never asked to be treated with kid gloves like Phalin. I debate politics with my own father (a huge supporter of the Rehugs) and I never ask for him to treat me like a little girl and we really go at it sometimes! I would never teach my 3 and 4 year old daughters that to get ahead as a woman they need to be "coddled". This puts woman back not moves them forward. I can't stand Palin. She is not good for women at all. Actually Barack and Joe are much much better for women.

17. Agreed!
I rant on a daily basis about this woman, Palin, not being up to the job.

I'm furious at how the Right-wingers were so vicious to Hillary - yet treat Palin with more respect because she's STUPID.

Oh my Goddess, give me strength!

and she should be Vice President confirming the WORST STEREOTYPES EVER.
