It seems as if Barack Obama and John McCain can bank on one thing in this year's election and that is that voters will take stock in what they say about solving the country's financial crisis.
It could be the deciding factor.
Dorothy Wilborn of Columbus is proud to say she is a Democrat. At a time, she was a supporter of President Bush .
"I just couldn't see Al Gore as president," she says, smiling.
Wilborn, however, says she is returning home this presidential election. She's with Obama all the way.
"It's not a Democrat or Republican thing. It's not a black-white thing," says the 50-year-old medical records clerk. "I vote for the person I think is best ready to lead. I just think it's time for a big change in Washington. Some of the things I've heard McCain say, I think he might be a little removed from reality."

Columbus nurse Kathy Lawson, 59, isn't in love with government or politicians.
"I wish more citizens would just stand up and say what they feel about what's going on in Washington," she said. "We're the ones being hurt."
She thinks the latest economic problems are likely to determine which candidate, not only for president, but also for other political offices, wins.
As for president, she says she's likely to go with Obama.
"McCain is just too much like Bush," she says. "I'm sick of that."
