Everything he tried to throw at Obama/Biden got slapped back in his face or else crumbled on its own. He's old and he's tired and he's making more and more mistakes. The media has lost patience. His bounce is over. Currently he's running 68 electoral votes behind Obama who today stands at 303.
And his running mate is no help at all--she's becoming more trouble than she's worth. But he's stuck with that bad decision now, too.
It is more and more obvious that he'd make a terrible president and almost everyone knows it, whether they want to admit it to themselves or not.
Good thing the election is almost here: then the old boy can go off to one of his seven homes and recuperate.
It was fun while it lasted, eh, Grandpa? Leave it, now, to the young, strong, brilliant candidate--you know in your heart of hearts that he'll be good for the country.
