Chris Matthews: Bush's Conference today...Too Late!!
Matthews just said that Bush has NO CREDIBILITY and has not done his job and no leverage at this critical time. Joe Scumborough says that Bush is coming out today not because of Main Street but because confidence is shaken in Wall Street.

4. Bush needs to stay in the closet...
I visualize him crouching in his closet, drink in hand, yelling "LEAVE ME ALONE". He's pathetic.

7. it was pitiful
If my tax money is going to be used as an ATM machine by a corrupt business system I want the guy in charge to tell me WHY this is being done, what he proposes to do to fix the system, and how long he expects my tax dollars to prop up the status quo.

Instead this arrogant little bastard just snipped out a few words about INVESTORS - the same people who are gleefully scooping up my money - and not a word to the vast majority of us who are shoveling money at Wall Street.

I've often been offended by this fucker, but today takes the cake. Not a WORD explaining to us why we're being given the tab. Unbelieveable. Incredible.

we had to wait until Thursday. Pathetic.

19. And not the first time...
I'm surprised he wasn't flying from air force base to air force base Monday, with word out that the crash had commandeered a plane, and was looking for Air Force One.

18. Jesus Christ on a cracker!!!
So, the Dow opens up over a hundred points, then Bush does his two-minute quickie, and it drops down to only +6.84? (It's up to around 37 now.) What does that say about investor confidence in the Republican leadership?
