past 10 years. I just can't see either Palin or McCain actually reading anything beyond cheat sheets on issues or facts. I'm always curious about what people read- or if they read at all. I believe it's one of the most important venues for exposing yourself to other people and new ideas.

Was it in the 2004 debates that the candidates were asked to name their favorite philosopher or somesuch, and Chimpy McPresident answered "Jesus Christ" ? I almost vomited in my mouth at that sorry display of pandering.

So if this question is posted to either McCain or Palin, the answer would undoubtedly be "the Bible".
