WSJ: Palin to Meet Foreign Leaders at U.N.
I feel very sorry for the as yet unnamed foreign leaders...I'm sure that Palin scares the crap out of them as well. I guess that the McCain camp thinks that Palin's answer on the VP meetings with foreign leaders question was not adequate, haha.

Palin to Meet Foreign Leaders at U.N.

Monica Langley reports on the presidential race.

Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will meet with foreign leaders next week at the United Nations, a move to boost her foreign-policy credentials, a Republican strategist said.

Republican candidate John McCain plans to introduce the Alaska governor to heads of state at the opening of the U.N. General Assembly, although specific names weren’t yet firmed up. “The meetings will give her some exposure and experience with foreign leaders,” the strategist said. “It’s a great idea.”

McCain and Palin are expected to visit the U.N. on Tuesday, when President George W. Bush will address the international body.

Since her nomination, Palin has energized the Republican base, drawn huge crowds and propelled fund-raising. However, Democrats have attacked her as weak on foreign policy experience. Even on last week’s “Saturday Night Live,” actress Tina Fey spoofed Palin’s assertion that she is familiar with issues involving Russia, noting that Alaska is nearby. “I can see Russia from my house!” Fey-as-Palin said.

But McCain advisers hope her U.N. visit will show how quickly Palin can make key connections and become well-versed in foreign-policy issues.

11. LOL!!!
I had to laugh. 36 years ago during my first semester in college a dorm mate asked me if I wanted to attend an AMWAY presentation. I didn't know what AMWAY was and he was very excited but vague about it. He told me very little and said the presentation would tell me more. He even offered to give me a ride. I thought, "Why not?" and accepted. The presentation was in a private home across town--it was a long, long afternoon...

Life-time lesson learned:
Never, ever, accept a ride to an AMWAY presentation. Never! Always have your car with you. Always!

Having said that, I wouldn't go near an AMWAY presentation today!

10. That could turn out to be
a bombshell on McCrap as well. These foreign dignitaries don't owe any loyalty to these fools, so if Churchy Spice says something idiotic to one or many of them, which is only inevitable, I'd bet these folks would make sure to relay it to the press, the rest of the delegation and their own leaders. Sure, it's a sham, like everything else Churchy Spice has done, but this is one where the campaign doesn't control every variable, and as we've seen, that tends to backfire on them. Let's hope one of them mentions religion to her. That should be all we need for a full-on meltdown.

Foreign Policy trip visiting with several foreign representatives. Of course the trip will be just to New York and the U.N., but with the way she stretches reality you never know.

Maybe she'll talk about how she's got him outnumbered with the Alaska military, and she knows all russia's secrets because she's spying on them from her roof.
