I'm not seeing excitement in the White community

all my white neighbors and coworkers are all "um... yeah, whatever" about McCain. I don't think they will vote. Is that bad?

2. I think many more may be so sick of McLame by the end of this, that they will sit home in disgust.

I personally have no problem with people not voting if they're not informed. My advice: Don't push it.

I live near an old cemetery. The dead people there are not very excited about the election. A republican walking by at night often whistles republican songs, but none of the dead people respond.

8. I was at a school related event in a very very blue area the other day...

and a young mother walked in with a McCain/Palin button on her purse. I saw it out of the corner of my eye, did a double take and then I had to get up close and surreptitiously check it out. I thought it might be one of those "McCain/Satan" jokes or something but no. Later I noticed that she went out to her car and put her purse away in her car!
