Obama should do another fundraising goal for us

Remember when he did a fundraising goal to have 1.5 million new donors and he had the counter on the main screen of his website. I think people were just contributing to see if we could meet the goal. With the new fundraising numbers out and the high goal Obama needs to meet, between 250-300 million dollars, and the RNC's huge amount on hand, I think Obama needs to do another one of those goals.

This time, however, it needs to be a dollar amount with a running total. The goal should be 100 million and see if it can be met by the second presidential debate.

6. I agree. I have to admit I was a little disappointed with the $66M announced today.

I know it's HUGE and record breaking, but I was hoping for something mind blowing - like $100M. The RNC knows plenty of people with deeeeep pockets, and the McSame "public financing" farce is just that. Unless we start getting mind blowing numbers, the RNC and special interests (like the NRA who have said they're going to unload their warchest against Obama) will be able to at least keep up, and I want to completely blow them away, particularly with well funded ground troops come October and November.
