Today's Repuke talking point...Obama has voted with his party almost
100% of the time. And watching Bill Richardson defend Obama on that on Wolfie's show made me want to scream. This seems to be an easy one. Of course he's voted with the party. The Repukes have been dead wrong...look at the state of this country. The Repukes have been obstructionist and we can't get anything done with their wrongheaded decisions. He needs to own it, and lay it back on the Repukes just plain ol' being wrong.

2. That's not even original
Obama and others have said that McCain voted with bush 90 pct. of the time. So once again, the repubs are stealing a talking point.

3. The point is Obama isn't a member of the screwed up Republicans
he didn't have to vote against them to be right.

4. You'd have to be stupid to vote against your party when your party is right.

6. Oh, shock and horror
He voted with his party 100% of the time? Scandalous!

Even if it were true, so what?

Republicans have either filibustered or vetoed any Democratic bill or amendment.

Is the public happy with the way things are going?

9. Exactly. But Richardson didn't have any response to the "charge" Pawlenty
said "Name one time Obama stood up to his own party." Richardson waffled around. It was embarrassing.

8. As usual, the RW talking point deliberately misses the point
Obama is not the candidate trying to distance himself from his own party. McCain is the one painting himself as a "maverick," and his voting record puts the lie to that claim.

The whole point of the McCain criticism is that he does not promise change, he is McSAME!
