I do research for a living an a 1,000 sample telephone study sometimes costs up to 18,000 from a calling center. Obviously if you do a daily poll it is probably less than that due to volume but it is expensive. Think, to get 1,000 in-tab sample you need to make 4,000 to 5,000 phone calls. It takes a big, well-trained staff to do that.
