So The Republicans Have ONCE AGAIN Managed To Get Expectations SO LOW
that as long as they both mumble a few complete sentences, they're home free? Guys, stop the Palin isn't qualified nonsense. The message is McCain. Palin screwed her husband's partner and gave birth to his love child that she somehow kept secret? The message is McCain. Palin is the moose queen of the Caribou's? The message is McCain.

They wanna talk about Palin's inexperience? Here is the response: well with all that time in the Senate, John McCain STILL gets it wrong. They wanna talk about Palin's being a woman? Here is the response: No human being would have the platform John McCain's proposing. They wanna talk about Palin's poor treatment in the media? Here is the response: That's nothing compared to the poor treatment they would dish out to our veterans if given a chance.

When "they" want to distract you with Palin...we need to remind them about McCain.

3. How Low?
So low it would bring a limbo dancer to tears.

Lets talk about

The War
The Economy
Energy Independence
Heath Care
Civil Liberties
Education

and just how unfit to lead John McCain is.

4. Obama, Biden, and their surrogates are going directly to the people discussing "the issues".
The political forums and blogs are the choir and already KNOW "the issues".

The people here need to be able to be more fully informed about the entire environment (beyond the issues that we should already know) in order to inform/counter the reluctant people, who may not get an Obama/Biden/surrogate visit, and assuage their concerns. Yes the VP pick is "a distraction" but she has evolved into supplementing McLame since he has now been just about thrown under the bus by his own party.

In summary - Housegate mortally wounded McLame and he is now inert. THAT was the game-changer of this entire election cycle. A segment of the repuke base is not voting for him, they are voting for her. What Dems might want to do is ratchet up the profile of Biden to (IMHO) use to draw in those Dems who refuse to pull the lever for an AA.

7. but a vote for her is a vote for him...and I'm all about low blows, if they're effective.
Going after his war record (service, not votes pertaining to) and her qualifications only make it easier for them to look like the comeback kids. If we were running smart, instead of with the heart, we'd be saying how formidable she is, so the ISSUES are what gets discussed, and not whether a hockey mom out of Apocalypstick Now can serve as veep. If she meets the Constitutional requirements, she's qualified. As is everyone. Saying she isn't qualified makes her LOOK like an outsider. She's qualified. She's MORE than qualified.

...Now didja see john McCain's idea of 'health care'?
