Rep. Wasserman Schultz goes after Palin for her suggestion that Obama should have picked Hillary
Obama Campaign Statement From Rep. Wasserman Schultz

“Sarah Palin should spare us the phony sentiment and respect. Governor Palin accused Senator Clinton of whining and John McCain laughed when a questioner referred to her by using a demeaning expletive. John McCain and Sarah Palin represent no meaningful change, just the same failed policies and same divisive, demeaning politics that has devastated the middle class,” said Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

6. So palin is throwing more shit up in the air
to see what sticks and what comes down on her head.

Everybody knows exactly what she's doing with this "Obama should have picked Hillary". Thanks Debbi Wasserman Schultz! Give it right back to her.

7. It's this whole pretending to be psychic thing the McCain camp needs to be HAMMERED on.
First they claim that Obama meant that the "lipstick on a pig" comment was directed at Palin. Then when that was thoroughly smacked down, they claimed that the audience took it that way because they laughed so heartily at Obama's comment and that Obama should have realized it and chastised his audience for laughing. :eyes: Now they're claiming to be able to read Obama's mind that he wished he picked Hillary.

Excuse me while I laugh in your faces, Republicans.

we need more women speaking out like this! I understand why Hillary won't, the media would have a field day and start a three ring circus but others doing it is great!

17. She should have added: "Having said that, it would also have been great had Senator Clinton
been chosen to be the VP nominee on the Democratic ticket. At least then there would have been one qualified woman running for VP."

29. Wasserman-Schultz has been an outstanding surrogate
I almost began a thread to thank Debbie the other day after watching her tear apart a republican on Hardball. She's a relentless hard-hitter and doesn't mealy-mouth around. Bam!

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz :toast:
