"I told Congress thanks but no thanks for that bridge to nowhere up in Alaska. If our state wanted a bridge we were going to build it ourselves."

OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!!!

If the lying wasn't so bad, we should be going after her for the robotic-like un-originality.

1. Somebody in the audience should flash a Queen of Diamonds
and see what happens.

2. They only wanted to pay for one speech. That's all they had in the budget.
So that's all we'll get.

3. Some creative DUer needs to Photoshop a See 'n' Say with her canned lines.

4. They have her on a very tight leash
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 05:55 PM by Blue_In_AK
it would seem. She really hasn't sounded at all like herself from the convention forward. Believe it or not, Alaskans have actually heard her speak extemporaneously in the past. Shocking, I know -- but there you have it.

I kid you not. In case you missed it http://www.newyorker.com/talk/2008/09/08/080908ta_talk_gourevitch?yrail<br />

They obviously can't let her come out and say that she admires Obama. gasp.

10. I'm just rethinking this whole sexist thing. I'm thinking it's the McShame camp who is
if they've got her on a leash... If Hillary were VP (and I'm not suggesting she should be--party unity, yay!) they wouldn't keep her on a leash.

They want to paint themselves as "mavericks," but they're putting "maverick" Sarah in a box. It's been fascinating to watch. I keep waiting for her to speak her own words, but it's been, what,10 days now, and all I've heard have been words that were obviously written FOR her, not BY her. I'd be pretty pissed if I were her -- but then I guess she has no shame. Many people here are disgusted by her "performance."

8. And, you know what REALLY pisses me off ...
she is FLAT OUT LYING here, and about 10 other times in what is duly noted as he reading freakin VERBATIM the SAME GOD DARNED SPEECH EVERY TIME ... and what do you get from the media ...

1) She is just a complete rock star !!!
2) She is drawing HUGE crowds !!!
3) Freakin David Gregory pointed out the bridge thing, noted that it has been proven "false" and then said, no lie, that it might actually "be a good strategy" for her ...

If this was a D, they would be KILLING him or her ... KILLING em ...

They can't even bring themselves to call it for the bold faced lying it is - one of the hair brained nits on Hardball refered to it as "tenuous" or some bullspit like that. Because she is an R, plain and simple, they are scared to get their nuts cut off if they are too HONEST about Rs, but don't have the first fear of taking a D to school for whatever specious nonsense the Rs are propogating at any given time.

AARRGGG

Call her the lying sack of snot she is already, she KEEPS DOING IT, KEEPS LYING on the freakin presidential campaign trail, with god darned impunity.

Otherwise they would reject them.
