ENOUGH! One Independent DEVASTATING EXPOSE AD is needed to define Palin. And then MOVE ON.

Obama’s Maverick AD is great. And the campaign certainly is leary of the distraction of more attention being focused on the Palin Personality.

But, Palin will continue to be effective as Lady “just like us” until her credibility is shot.

And more importantly, we need to expose Palin’s dangerous national policy incompetence in order to EXPOSE McCAIN’S CORRUPT CYNICISM.

McCain is NOT a weak candidate. He has real anti-establishment and reform credentials. This makes it even more important to hammer his pandering, reckless cynicism in gambling the future security of the nation on a deceitful, novice political operator.

There is now enough data to figure out the best strategy to destroy her. I would donate money for one independent “We Know Sarah Palin” AD by some group such as “Hockey Moms for Honesty in Politics.”

What say you? Can we spread the notion: One AD and MOVE ON!

6. I'd prefer to not publicize them, in the event trolls are about
And it won't be productive if there's no one to pick them up and do something with them.

11. Exactly Wrong. The issue is the future of the nation: jobs. wages, healthcare, education

energy, war and peace etc. etc. Palin is a smokescreen. Every time Dems go from "putting people first" to quote President Clinton, to soap opera, they drift further from the prize.

13. read Lakoff's piece on the significance of "symbols" in this superficial culture we have
I'm actually on a hunt for the article at the moment, here on DU, and got sidetracked by this thread (my sister e-mailed it to me and I was hunting for commentary to share with her)--anyway, the point is that Palin is a "symbol" of everything the strict conservatives love, and they won't go much below that surface into issues. The symbol itself needs to get tarnished and be exposed as a sham. As the scandals, rumors, and innuendo pile up and the veneer is stripped off the rotten core, it will implode and dry up like the trash it is.
