I have a question for you all.

I've been looking around trying to find Obama's proposal for a tax on houses over 2,400 sq. ft., but the only relevant links I ever seem to get are net-babies whining about how the tax is "Racist" somehow, and all that. Could anybody help me out? At the very least I want to understand what that's all about, but I would really appreciate links to any cut-and-dry facts I might find about it.

I received an E-Mail from a family member today (an ardent Republican who's been tricked into thinking Obama's going to destroy the middle-class), and that was one of the points in the E-Mail. I've been going point-by-point discrediting each in an attempt to convince her that she's been mislead about Obama, and so I would need some hard facts from an accredited source (or straight from the horse's mouth, if possible). Can anybody help me, please?

The entire E-Mail is just some chain-letter bullshit being sent around to dupe those American people who lean Republican by nature, or those who simply don't know better/don't have the time to look into it. I'm sure you or someone you know has probably gotten one. It's all the usual crap that gets sent out around major elections. In fact, I think I might've seen something similar regarding Kerry back in 2004.

As for Eric J in MN, thanks for that link. Having taken a look, that page responds to EXACTLY the chain-letter I was E-Mailed. With this as my shield, it would be entirely my fault if I should lose this exchange. Thanks a lot!
