*** BLOG STRATEGY for STUPID Non-Issues ***

Throwing this out there as an idea after the absurd flag thing, knowing we'll see more of the same non-issues right up to the election:

We need to create a BRANDING for non-issues. A LOGO, to call bull, which EVERY BLOG can use.

I propose we take the quote from Obama's fantastic speech, "ENOUGH!"

We can turn it into a graphic logo, and use it every time some BS story is brought up to divert from other relevant campaign issues.

Additionally, we need to think about how we're constructing the title and first line of our blog entries.

Essentially, we're fighting a Google/Technorati war here. They know that if they can put out non-issues, it will hide the actual issues in the news feeds on the Internet.

So if we want to cover the flag story trap, we need to write headlines like, "Republicans Find Flags but Ignore Issues Important to Americans"

And then make sure the first paragraph of your story is seeded with relevant facts that will make a difference for average Americans. Health care. Medicare. Education. Economy. Deficit Spending.

10. Here's what I think...

we all know they come here. IF some stupid trashy lie is to be posted, it needs to be posted as;

"Oh, look, the stupid fuckers are trying to say"....instead of "We need to get on this flag thing right now!!!!"

That makes it seem as if we believe the trash. It should be posted as to make fun of them. Not a defense for us.

We all know they are liars, we all know there will be more.

Let's laugh at the bastards. That's what they deserve.
