To those who think we'll win in a landslide, remember what Ben Franklin said:

THAT'S why I don't think we will win in a landslide. I like our chances, but it's not a lock.
There just a few too many complete idiots out there, and they vote.

2. We can hope, but we can't count on it

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. They'll try every dirty trick
in the book, and a few that aren't in the book yet. Only a convincing
majority of votes will put us over the top. If it's close, they'll pull
something again. They've gotten good at it, and it gave us Bush Lite twice.

There's nothing wrong with being pleasantly surprised on Nov. 5.

The other possibility would be very grim, indeed.
