Not just the accent- which I have to say is odd, but not as bad as a heavy southern drawl (sorry southerners, I just can't stand the drawl) but the abrasive quality- kinda like a cross between Rachael Ray and Frances McDormand in Fargo

It's surprising that she wanted to be a sports journalist.. and was also in the beauty pageant circuit... and never learned to modulate her voice any better.

But then who knows if any of that is even true. Everything about her gets on my very last nerve.
