Who'll ask about contrasts between McCain and Palin on topics from rape to creationism to ANWAR?
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 10:45 AM by Stop Cornyn
1. RAPE, INCEST, ABORTION, AND HIGH RISKS OF PERMANENT DISABLING INJURY TO THE MOTHER

McCain favors a woman's right to seek an abortion in cases of rape or incest.

Palin opposes every woman's right to seek an abortion when the fetus was conceived through rape or incest and regardless of whether the pregnancy presents a high risk of permanent disabling injury to the mother.

How with this rift affect McCain-Palin policy? Who will ask these questions?

2. CREATIONISM AND PUBLIC SCHOOL SCIENCE CLASSES

During the primary debates, the R candidates were asked "is there anybody on this stage who does not believe in evolution?"

McCain did not hold up his hand.

Sarah "Paleo" Palin is a creationist who does not believe in evolution and who advocates in favor of teaching creationism in public school science classes.

How with this rift affect McCain-Palin policy? Who will ask these questions?

3. DRILLING IN ANWAR AND GLOBAL WARMING

McCain opposes drilling in ANWAR. McCain also recognized the overwhelming body of science confirming that human interaction with our environment contributes to global warming.

Palin advocates rabidly for drilling in ANWAR, and she refuses to acknowledge that human interaction with our environment contributes to global warming. Palin has gone so far as to sue the federal government in an effort to stop the government from protecting the Polar Bear under the Endangered Species Act because she is so deeply embedded in the oil industry's pocket.

How with this rift affect McCain-Palin policy? Who will ask these questions?

Please add your list of McCain-Palin policy conflict questions which need to be resolved.
