Only petty insults. And chants of MORE WAR MORE WAR.

Obama and Biden better hammer the hell out of them tomorrow.

1. Yep. They went out of their way to avoid it.

2. Why should they?
The economy is fundamentally strong. The President said so. If it ain't broke (even if you're broke), don't fix it. Stop whining and get with the program. :sarcasm:

3. Their objective is being achieved - they see no need to change things. NT

4. They are STILL accusing Obama
of not being specific.
They have not said anything about their plans for the US. They had a whole convention to do it - but nothing.

Not only did Obama and Biden list what they were going to do but other speakers addressed energy and the economy on their behalf.

7. That's what I saw too.
Really a shameful display of lack of caring.

It was ironic how they "tried" to seem sympathetic of others on Gustav Monday, and then fell apart and said "Fuck helping your fellow man" by the end of it all.

8. Nadda, Nothin, Zilch...
Except the obligatory "lower ur taxes." (lather, rinse, repeat, etc...)

Nothing but a chest pounding snarkfest. It's like they pulled out every lame tap dance that ever worked at least once....

A video of this "convention" will be preserved in some museum to memorialize this party's last pathetic gasp. :patriot:

9. Yup, no specfics. It was pathetic.
It seems fairly evident the Repugs' plan is to run on character, ideology and patriotism and leave the REAL ISSUES completely out of the discussion. I can't imagine how they think they could win with that plan, but hey, this is America. We'll see what happens...

I'm keeping the faith and I agree with you about the need for Team Obama to hit back hard on their utter disregard for the middle class.

10. They are on the wrong side of reality. They haven't offered up actual solutions for decades.

They offer smoke and mirrors, and push fear and suspicion. Make every one paranoid of change, and don't "trust" the neighbors.

edit; cuz I can haz zpelling errors
