The passing around of the baby
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 12:31 PM by marylanddem
The passing around of the baby doesn't bother me as much as bringing a 4 or 5 month old special needs infant into a room full of hundreds of thousands of screaming strangers with god knows what kinds of possible illnesses. That seems crazy to me.

1. I was talking to my wife about this...
Our son -- our first -- turns a year old on the 27th, and we both didn't allow anyone in public to touch our baby until he was 6 months old.

2. Down Syndrome babies are especially sensitive to noise and light
As far as being a prop, that's another matter...

4. Perhaps that baby is deaf? I don't understand why he didn't cry the entire
time? I'm wondering if he has hearing problems.. I could not get my child to sit their so docily at that age, he does have a couple of special needs issues.. but its with speach and language.. still though, I don't get what's going on with that baby.

6. My nephew
has Down Syndrome. He very rarely cries or reacts to his surroundings. So no, I don't think the Palin baby is deaf.
