McSame tonight - tough to call that one in advance

Sometimes, mainly in the past, he's delivered some really good convention speeches. Sometimes his speeches are bombs that appear to be delivered by a cadaver, like his nomination acceptance speech of "We should be able to deliver bottled hot water to dehydrated babies" fame.

I heard that tonight he is going to speak "town hall style", apparently answering questions while sitting on a stool instead of at a podium or something like that. That's smart since he is much better at that but it doesn't demonstrate much confidence to me that his handlers think he can deliver a good speech.

3. I am just speculating on the stool part, but CBS radio reported

this morning, in NY, that his speech would be delivered "town hall style." I don't know what that could mean other than a speech that is not delivered in formal style from a podium.
