They're makin' me puke at work today....
The pubes are going on and on about Palin's "home run" and a couple of x-Hillary ladies are talking about how "touched" they were....

I think I'm just going to hang out in my office for a while and wait for them to clear out of the break room.... coffee's overrated anyway...

2. Are your coworkers wealthy?
I'm guessing not, and that is the only sensible reason to vote for McCain.

9. Yeah.... I really should have grabbed the coffee before I bolted...
Now I have that puke taste in my mouth...

Yeah, they're "touched" alright. Somehow, I would have expected actual issues to matter to these people more than the fact that some lady was able to squeeze out some kids (just like them).

4. Ask them which senator has criticized Palin for earmarks
That would be McCain.
Also, she lied about the bridge to nowhere. She was an avid supporter.
But, reaffirm their enthusiasm for a candidate who appeals to emotional voting and low-information voters.

6. Ask them why she didn't mention
that she didn't give all the "bridge to nowhere" money back. Alaska kept it. If she were a Democrat, the pubes would all be calling her a flip-flopper on the earmark issue.

As for a "homerun," take out the rhetoric and her delivery was off key and stilted. There was nothing great about it.

10. I stuck my toe into "confusing them with the facts"...
Have you ever seen that confused look a dog gives you when you hide his toy behind your back?

That's what I got times six....

Then, I heard everything from being a "mean spirited liberal" to "sexist" to "why don't they just leave her family alone" to.... fuck, I don't know. I just want a god damned coffee....
