I'm so proud of my daughter! She's 19 and this will be her first national
election. She is sitting her with me and we were just talking about stuff, with Mittens playing in the background. Suddenly, he says liberal, her head whips and around and she backs up the DVR to see what he said.

Suddenly, I have this irate young lady, who usually doesn't express too much of an opinion about politics, screaming at Mittens on the TV! "Do you think we're stupid? You idiots have been in charge and everyone knows who has destroyed this country! Don't blame it on the liberals...we're the ones that are going to have to clean up your mess!"

I think Mittens may have been able to hear her.

1. good for her!!
I'm experiencing the same thing with my 19 year old son. It's wonderful to watch them become interested in politics and realize that they're lives will be impacted by the outcome!

5. Sounds like you raised a bright young woman!
and yes, it seems like liberals are always cleaning up the RW mess - FDR after Hoover, Coolidge & Harding; Carter after Nixon; Clinton after Reagan & Bush...

7. Tell her to take in all she can from this election because she
should remember it for the rest of her life. If Obama wins, it will be a step in the right direction for our country. If the Republicans win, it will mean the death of democracy.
