How many DUers think that the GOP wanted to spend convention week
attacking Obama/Biden and the Dems instead of trying to defend their choice for VP?

1. They are defending her BY attacking Obama. It is not either or.

3. It's not the same as a carefully planned attack
Remember how Obama and the Dems were able to control the message? The GOP doesn't have that luxury. They are flailing about trying to put out all the Palin fires and at the same time attack Obama (often in ways that defeat their defense efforts).

10. They need to defend her...
...but she is indefensible, so their strategy consists of attacks. This doesn't make them look less foolish.

6. I don't know I think that theme could still apply to the McCain/Palin
ticket.

baby story opened media to open their eyes a bit. wonder what else is out there they say. no rosy little picture they were doing all while du was gathering. and another thing, we had time to gather a lot of stuff that has now been scrubbed and voices from people that are different than what we had......

IF mccain had vetted, wouldnt have found nearly so much

7. This Palin problem really messed with their game plan but i expect 911iani to come out with
his 9/11 guns blazing tonight. They lost 2 days so far.

8. The problem with 911 is that Palin would be a disaster
if she had to handle something like that. So again the Giving Tree (aka Palin) has defanged this line of attack.
