I am POSITIVE I missed nothing, and neither did America if they chose (which they probably did) not to watch too.

And regarding Joe LIEberman, fuck him, I'd have busted my TV watching that asshole.

I hope you all had a good time.

1. I flipped by it on the way to watch family guy
they summed up the trees life in some video. They some how missed the whole Iran Contra affair, that recession thing that happen during his presidency, his whole selling WMDs to Iraq in the first place, that whole training of terrorist that the CIA did... it's like they missed the actual things he did in his life that are actually effecting people now. Of course the MSM was quick to point out these missing points... oh wait. Republican convention is fantasy for those that "want to believe".

2. My husband is watching it ...... in the back room.
And I keep telling him to turn it down. Just the murmur of their voices is enough to bring a wave of nausea over me.

(BTW, he's watching it because he says he needs to "know the enemy", he isn't one of them.)

5. It was worth watching, as a morale-booster. Seriously
Small crowds that didn't try to make too much noise. It might have been sad, if I was somehow able to think of them as people

6. You missed a lot...
... of numbingly staged crap disguised as political speeches, cheesy video tributes, and a special appearance by the Preznit via satellite. He's in DC just in case Gustav intensifies and heads for the Potomac.

11. Yep, just a sea of white mostly male faces.
THOSE are the 24% who would support bush even if he were drowning puppies on live TV. And they were all in one room.

8. Did not watch one second of it.

I do not have enough hope left to have it sucked out by those fear/hate mongers.

I have Stewart and Colbert to give me all the convention coverage I need. Thank you.

Joe Lieberman can take a long walk off a short peer for all I care. I don't want to hear anything more about him. He is a sell out just the same way mccain is. The kind of person that decides that it is better to do what is best for their own ambitions instead of doing what is best for the rest of humanity. I believe in doing the right thing and that is why I am where I am today.
