they are replaying his comments cause they started their election coverage - he would take pauses for applause - but NBC didn't run the crowd noise - so he looked like an absolute doofus. Thank You NBC.

Anyway his comments seemed more directed at saving his own legacy than promoting John McCain. He didn't sound sincere. Not that he ever does.
