2. It was smooth and very nice. He always puts the media under the
spotlight also instead of letting them slide through with their crap.

15. "Dean went on to ask why CNN wasn't following up on the Abu Ghraib report
Because CNN spends so much time promoting the Swift Boat Lies they don't have the time to report on the Abu Ghraib report from the Times .

13. THIS is the KEY dem talking point!
when are they going to start using it?

pugs turn EVERY negatively aimed question into a FILIBUSTER on Kerry

DEMS should do the same thing to reporters....put THEM on the defensive, asking them WHY they continue to ask them questions about EVERYthing besides the issues that affect our nation

then ask why they're campaigning for the republicans, because they have NO issues to run on themselves

ipso facto, they're doing pug dirty work by asking questions NOT dealing with relevant issues

gotta keep repeating it the way Dean did

very very effective

so fine to see that beared womb broom squirm like the squamous cell he is

14. Got to love Dean
He called them on it and then when Wolf tried to weasel his way out of it, he laughed. Good for Dean, good for America.

11. Words in his mouth
Did you notice how Wolf put words in Dean's mouth? I thought that was terrible. Dean was provocative enough without Wolf making up quotes!

There were a couple of guests before Dean. A guy (Repub) and woman (Demo). The guy totally misstated Kerry's Iraq policy (get out in six months, he said) and Wolf didn't utter a peep. The woman said something about Rove saying the Abu Gharib scandal setting back relations in the Mideast for a generation, and with this Wolf sought a source for the quote.

Wolf is very selective about what he questions.

17. If Dean had a more natural smile, I think he'd be the Dem nominee today.
He was my choice, and watching him today I remembered why. He's a heavy hitter.

The one problem Dean has that I think played a major role in his campaign, is that when he forces a smile, it does look a bit curious... and not so natural. And almost a little angry.

It played right into the campaign against him (as being unstable).

It's weird how the seemingly trival things can have major impact.

18. Many of us are angry. Very angry. He was angry today, rightly so.
If he lost the nomination because he was a little angry or did not smile just right, then what does that tell you?

20. Dean was and is great
After this election I look forward to long discussions about how and why candidates are chosen, and by whom. Don't want to go there now, too much of a diversion from the current primary mission of ousting Bush.

24. Wolf tried to tie MoveOn to Dean, Dean changed the subject.
The other night on Anderson Cooper, Cooper was interviewing Dean just as he was going into the huge event with MoveOn and Janeane and Franken, and many others. Dean reminded Cooper that the Swift Boat guys were part of the Bush campaign. He said he was an "independent operator" and could meet with any group he wished.

Did Dean ever really respond to Wolf on this, or did he keep changing the subject back to the Swift Boat Vets?
