You want to cut Palin's Christian followers by 50%?

Ms Palin, I understand you're a member of an Assemblies of God church, correct?

Why yes, yes I am.

I'm sure your Christian supporters are eager to hear about your background in the church.

Oh, I'm sure they are.

As an Assemblies of God member, do you believe that God's spiritual gifts are manifested by Christians today?

Uh, well, I believe ALL those who love Jesus are blessed with gifts . . .

But I mean the gifts of the Spirit - speaking in tongues, laying on of hands, prophecy, interpretation - do you believe those are being made evident in Christians today?

If she answers "yes", she'll alienate 50% of Christians who vehemently believe the gifts of the Spirit are NOT part of today's church. And of course, if she answers "no", her AoG folks will turn on her like chickens after a blood spot.

I read here this weekend that in her faith people speak in tongues at baptism. So if this happened to her, there just might be a video of the little darlin' in full gibbering blather. :D
