I say Johnny Mac will be damaged goods if that happens. However I'd bet LIEberman would still take it.

3. The more and More I'm hearing this I think Palin is a wild chance
So when Lieberman is announced he will quickly be accepted without much fuss.

5. Romney is available.
He may not think much of McCain, but he has no shame, and would sign on in a minute rather than be long forgotten by 2010.

6. I'm sure Mittens can be talked into accepting. But I wonder if Lieberman on the ticket
would actually help McSame?

8. Lieberman or an unknown are the only ones not mad enough to refuse
Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 06:22 PM by mvd
McCain was reckless, and that's good for us. Lieberman would be a flip flop choice in itself - far right wingnut to non-fundie.

12. I agree...I would guess everyone BUT lieberman
is mad enough and/or afraid enough of political doom to take it.

10. I posted about this earlier and...
..concluded that it would most likely come down to Tiny Tim, Fred Thompson or Alan Keyes if McCain can convince him. Dark Lord Romulus won't want to be tarred by association.

14. Tommy Ridge has those colored alert flags to bring to the party
I don't think they did much good, but they were fun in a childish sort of way.
