Judgement - McCain camp using this sad situation for Political Gain
There is no celebrating a teen mom. I mean sure you can support her, and be happy that she's committing to being a parent. But it's sad that a child has to grow up so quickly, and become a parent at this age. And it's more pathetic that John McCain would choose Sarah Palin, knowing (and they state) that her daughter was pregnant - then parade her on TV like this.

Just disgusting.

4. They can try that all they want--the internets forced Palin to fess up.
I suppose they thought she could just quietly have the baby in private in December, AFTER the election, but now it's out there. Remember, the RW's pushed the muslim rumors, the Michelle "whitey" tape--I have absolutely no remorse, because it turns out that the baby story yielded a REAL baby story.

2. Do you believe that he DID know? I don't.
Butit would be very bad for him to admit that. Her (Palin's) spokesperson did not know, as of friday, reports the Anchorage news paper.

5. McCain can't say he didn't know
without sabotaging his own VP pick and coming off like a
nincompoop who doesn't know what's going on with his own campaign.

That said, he kinda looks like a nincompoop no matter how you look at it.

6. Of course not. I don't believe she was vetted at all.
But I'll be damned if he blames us, for his ability to use the situation and parade the poor girl on tv.

3. No--there's no way they knew. This is a massive distraction that undercuts
Palin's whole "hockey mom" image of a good, attentive mother. They did not vet her, it's that simple. There is nothing to be gained politically in all of this, and "abstinence only" education looks like a monumental failure.
