Here's why McCain is totally fucked......
a candidate cannot break all historical records known to man in the annals of history
and lose the race. That defies any odds, period.

I realize that we are all going to work doubly hard, because we are all Fired up
and ready to take our country back...but I'm just saying,
don't believe the polls,
it ain't happening the way that the corporate media is telling it.

Our man will win.

Edited on Mon Sep-01-08 01:21 AM by FrenchieCat
Obama received most of his records before he even became the nominee.
Obama's largest crowd as still a primary candidate
was twice as large as John Kerry's crowd after he was the actual nominee.

Not getting overconfident ever....but my OP is addressed to the future nervous nellies.

It is important that we have confidence and faith in our candidate.....
instead of second guessing him all of the damn time; everytime a new poll comes out,
for example.

24. You can't compare Kerry's election to Obama's
Obama is a once in a lifetime leader. People are voting for him because they want to, not because they have to. Even Kerry knows that.

29. Nice post
Especially this sentence. "A candidate cannot break all historical records known to man in the annals of history
and lose the race."

Breaking all historical records win races
Obama is breaking all historical records
Therefore Obama will win the races.

30. Super Roundup of histoical records by our candidate, Barack Obama!
This article at one of links cracked me up.. I would think if you're going to pay "$14,000 to see Barack Obama you're gonna have a little more confidence but that may just me.

<snip>

"The American people want results. Talk is cheap for everyone. Time will only prove whether change is good or not," said Peter Shah, of Salinas, who paid $14,000 to meet Obama."

Obama also told Sunday night's dinner crowd he knows they're "nervous and skittish" about the close campaign, but they shouldn't stress out. He was just as reassuring earlier in the day at a town hall meeting in Reno, Nevada."

<snip>

He told the Fairmont audience that America is still getting past his funny name, but with all that money he could be ready to unleash the greatest campaign the country's ever seen.
