McCain's pick of Palin shows he is WEAK.
Edited on Sun Aug-31-08 11:32 AM by sparosnare
He has allowed the Republican Party to browbeat him into chosing a religious zealot; a rabid pro-life creationist. She is not a maverick, she is an extremist.

McCain has sacrificed the qualities of moderation that once defined him; those qualities that drew Idependents and some Democrats to consider voting for him.

How sad McCain made this deal with the Republican devil and agreed to do this in order to gain support from the Republican base who has never accepted him as their candidate. After being passed over twice by the party to be their nominee, this is his last chance.

It shows McCain is a weak man who will sacrifice the essence of who he is in order to become president. He cannot be trusted to make rational decisions benefiting all Americans. He will do anything to appease the radical base of the Republican Party.

I am saddened this former POW, once independent-thinking man has resigned himself to this.

1. No, he cannot be trusted
to govern America in a successful manner. This is what worries me the most about the Palin pick. And I can't believe that they're trying to say that Palin has more Executive experience than Obama. But, since McCain has never been a Governor, that means that she has more experience than him too.

2. Maverick my ass
The little twerp bent over and spread 'em for the nuttiest element of the repub party and yes he has sold his soul to the devil.

But it's not the first time for him - his whole career has been propelled by his wife's money. He gave up his testicles many years ago.

Besides, he's a little short fucker.

3. My post is the argument we should use with undecideds; independents;
moderate Republicans. It's a moral failure on McCain's part; he sold himself out.
