Mark Halperin says Obama's team is scrambling to send people to Anchorage

They apparently got wind of some damaging info. on Palin and are going to do a little investigative work.

I think we may be looking at the "October Surprise."

What I'm really wondering is all this relating to the story about Palin not having her 5th child? If Obama's team finds some real dirt on that, they need to leak that shit in October and claim innocence.

Have doctor's and nurses lie?
Fake a birth certificate? Somebody offical would have to be in on it? How did she get them to help

He's referring to a story (there's a link) in the NY Times about the Obama campaign scrambling to fill in their dossier on Palin, because they didn't consider her selection to be a real possibility. Amusingly, it turns out the Repubs are scrambling to fill in their dossier on Palin as well (ha!). Neither Halperin, nor the Times, in any way implies that the Obama campaign have "got wind" of a scandal or damaging information.
