This is what the Silver Star looks like...



This is a photo of Kerry and crew in 1969, taken just after the medal ceremony at An Thoi, where Kerry was pinned with the Silver Star and the rest of the crew got commendation medals.



See that medal on the right on Kerry's uniform? That's the Silver Star. And every guy who's alive in that photo, Mike Medeiros, Del Sandusky, Fred Short, and Gene Thorson, (Tom Belodeau is deceased) knows they were there for Kerry's Silver Star medal ceremony.

So let's just send this pic back to anybody who is whining about the Silver Star "with V" and say, "You've really gone off the deep end now."
