CNN poll switcheroo scandal! We need to take action--Dean Ahead?
On this last poll of 51-46, they actually suppressed the usual Harris Registered survey of 1004 and just released the 604 likelys!

http://pollingreport.com/wh04gen.htm

Polling Report had to note the difference in the numbers. What this means is that the always more Democratic and now secret Registered numbers must have shown Dean a little bit ahead of George Bush or at least in a dead heat!

We have to bombard CNN with e-mails to release the registered numbers as they usually do or we reveal the GREAT SWITCHEROO POLL SCANDAL to the entire media starting on Wednesday afternoon! All candidates are involved. Clark, Edwards, Kerry, all were much closer to Bush in reality! If we expose CNN now, we can reveal their real game.

GET BUSY!

1. BTW, I found that graphic, which seems to be totally unhooked from their
Web site. They never linked this to their site. They are deliberately suppressing even these likely numbers.

2. Note that some "Not Sures" omitted
How would that have changed the results? Would that also mean that Bush is less than 51% and the total numbers were dropped until he hit 51%? Anything to keep him above the dreaded 50% mark.

11. Today they said there was a 20 point spread, yesterday a 5.
Something is fishy, ok?

3. That is the one Begala ignored while he insulted Dean on Crossfire.
I will never forget watching that, having just heard the poll. It made me sick.

6. CNN just lied about this again.
They are debunking their own polls.

9. Oh my God. You misunderstand how polling works.
What is wrong with a poll that uses likely voters rather than everyone they call.

Zogby does this too.

They left out some unsures in their graphic. 51+46=97% Guess what 3% is not represented in that graphic. Big deal.

10. Uh, they quoted today the one from a few weeks ago.
There was a 20 point spread between Dean Bush. Do not talk down to me, talk to CNN for spinning.

13. Who did?
And for that matter, who cares. Even if some CNN person quoted an old poll instead of referring to a new one, it does not prove that this poll is wrong.

The premise of your argument was that CNN disproved the accuracy of their poll by suppressing the unlikely voters called in the survey. I see no evidence of that. If you have some beef about the honesty of some CNN person, by their actions of quoting some old poll, that is a different matter. I however see no proof in your post that Dean is ahead.

If you have some link that shows that when the 1004 people were questioned, that Dean led, then provide it. Otherwise you are merely questioning standard polling practices.

Why are you complaining anyway. This CNN poll is great for Dean. It is the only one showing him this close to Bush in a head-to-head. Be happy for goodness sakes.

15. Just now, Schneider and Woodruff on CNN.
I am not complaining of the poll itself. Not the one that is listed at the site.

I am complaining because they just lied about it on national television.

I fully believe they will use polls to destroy us. They did it in 2002 here in Florida.

We all need to be careful.

18. Well that's a different story. They may be trying to dismiss a favorable
poll for Dean, but I don't see how that debunks the poll being done.
