They have a great field set-up and are kicking off an intense program that has far surpassed anything I have seen in the past. I have been involved in political here at the local level for decades and I have never seen this kind of intensity, this amount of groundwork Ever.

She is canvassing in our neighborhood, the people carefully chosen as far as persuadable is concerned. They then will id them and there will be follow up all the way through to the election.

We did a fairly good job back, as a party, back in 1998. But it pales in comparison to what is happening on the ground here in Cuyahoga (Cleveland) County, Ohio.

I just wish I was healthy enough to get back in the game. I loved going door to door to talk with voters. It's the one thing I had to give up in my life that I truly miss. Especially when Campaign Season kicks it into high gear.

And I sure feel better that we have a Democratic governor and Secretary of State in Ohio this time. Nobody should underestimate the importance of that.

They worked their hearts out, but were very sloppy and disorganized.
