Did Sarah Palin edit her own Wikipedia article?

Saturday, August 30th by Ben Yates

The day before Sarah Palin was announced as veep, a user called Young Trigg totally rewrote her wikipedia article, making it more positive. Palin’s infant son is named trig, so the whole thing is a little strange.

NPR has a decent story (make sure to click the listen button; the segment isn’t transcribed).

To me it looks at least theoretically possible that the perp was Palin herself — it would be a great story, at least, though I don’t know if anyone’s in a position to find out. Look for a NYT piece later today.

1. Anything is possible but
Admittedly, it could be someone pretending to be her or her son in order to hurt her.

I wouldn't doubt a Republican trying to delete important information, though.
