2. A point I've been trying to make here all morning!
If McCain truly is trying to "shore up his base" and "pander to the religious right", he'd realize that those folks don't even want a woman to speak in church, much less possibly wind up as President (a much more real possibility if we DO elect President McSenile).

This is a terrible choice, and shows how little McCain knows about the American people in general, and his own party in particular.
