16. LOL
Too bad he didn't say "Neverland"
I am quite sure that Michael Jackson would be willing to rent it out to them for the week. Could you imagine chimpboy riding on the ferris wheel with uncle dick.

They should hold their convention in Wonderland. He had me rolling on the floor. He should be on every single day-- they certainly cannnot run all over him with their crap.

17. I got a kick out of James Carville
Weiner would start responding and Carville stretched his long legs out in front of him as if he was just kicking back to enjoy Weiner's answers to Novacula or shrubya's campaign shill.

It was a delight to watch. Weiner is articulate and never gets caught off guard. It was almost like watching a mama bear defending his city, candidate and his Party. Look out!

He hasn't gotten much air time since. One of the good things about the RNC in NY, we've got some good people there. I heard Rangel on the radio today.

21. More evidence that newbies aren't welcome
More and more people are waking up to the political process. More and more people are wading into this new (to them) world of political web sites, news (or "news") shows and political pundits. Like anything new, names of people and shows blend together and are meaningless until such time they (like you folks) are able to separate and differentiate them. Until then, it's just all one big blob.

If a person doesn't already know what's going on, they're shit out of luck.

Would it really kill people to give a *little* bit more detail?

If nothing else, what *channel* is Crossfire on so clueless but willing-to-learn people can see if there's a repeat?

Ah, never mind, complaints aren't going to change anything. This will be my last one.

26. Aw heck, we love newbies.
About a million years ago (it seems) I WAS one.
;-)
It took me a while to get up to speed too.
The vast majority of us welcome questions.
How else would we get to show off our superior knowledge and Pulitzer worthy writing skills?
:-)

I'm a geezer, so I'm always asking the younger bunch questions about current pop culture stuff.
If you don't want to ask a question in front of the whole crowd, feel free to PM (Personal Message) me. Just click on that little head thingy icon by my name.
Stick around. I think you'll like it.
:hi:
