just a quick question on the likablilty of a candidate..

I just get so disgusted when I hear anyone comment on john kerry's appearance on tds...

why is it necessary to elect a "likable" candidate..I mean he is the leader of the free world...why can't we just base it on intelect? I mean..."is kerry the kinda guy you could go have a beer with?" who cares? I mean if he isn't so what? he is the kinda guy that I want to lead our country.....i don't have to have a beer with someone to think they are a nice guy..I have had beer with people I think are complete dickheads...so what is the point of this???

I like Kerry..he isn't mr personality but he is a smart, thoughtful CAUTIOUS man..and isn't jumping to war for no reason..

I don't think I could stand 'Smirk' for more than a couple of minutes. I don't tolerate stupid people well.

unqualified to be president. Your president shouldn't be your "buddy", they should be someone with everyone's best interests as their ultimate goal.

3. I like him.

I believe in him, I trust him, he smiles plenty and is intelligent and articulate. The other one can't put an intelligent sentence together. He smirks instead of smiles. He is shifty eyed and sneaky and takes no accountability or responsibility. Hmmmm. Who would you REALLY rather hang out with?
