"Sources: McCain to reveal VP Friday in Ohio" I loved this bit...
"The McCain campaign is hoping to have 15,000 people at the Ohio rally — roughly five times the size of his largest crowd to date."

1. That's a lot of photoshopping
someone's gonna get repeated stress injury.

McCain better be supplying his folks with a great health plan.
He does have a health plan, doesn't he? Doesn't he?

11. I figure there's at least 15,000 idiots in Ohio
I should know -- I lived there the first 23 years of my life and there were that many in my piss-ant home town. Left after college and never went back except to visit the relatives on holidays. Now the relatives are all gone or dead, so I don't need to set foot in that place ever again. Amen. Have fun Mcgrampy -- maybe they can empty a few nursing homes to get the crow numbers up.

15. The local GOP here in Dayton
keeps adding places where people can get tickets. At first it was only at GOP headquarters and now you can pick up tickets all over town.

When Obama was at Nutter Center during the Primary, tickets were gone within a couple of hours and people stood in line to get those.

The timing's weird too -- the Friday before the Labor Day holiday?

Figures.

26. Tickets are still available!
Big article in this morning's "Dayton Daily News" listing places to get tickets.

They're going to have to bus in a lot of people.

16. They'll bus in a few megachurches and the newsmedia will know this but cover it up
just as they did for Bush in 2004 when Kerry was drawing 10 times more at his rallies than Bush.

18. Why is it that McCain and Obama can be this close...
...in the polls, when Obama can get 15 thousand people to come watch him eat breakfast, and when registered Democrats turned out to vote in the primaries at a rate of two to one over registered Republicans?
