McCain is viewed as a RINO by most conservatives, who are only reluctantly planning to vote for him. I believe that he can still screw it up and lose the Republican base by choosing a non-conservative, like
Lieberman as his V.P. candidate. It won't take much to make them stay home.

It's truly amazing to see just how quickly right-wingers can go from abject hatred of someone to voting for them for President, and visa versa.

Between freepers, Limbaugh, and Coulter all hating him, I figured McThuselah had absolutely NO chance in 2008. But sure enough, the freepers are lined up behind him now.
