Howard Wolfson is simply a rat

Howard Wolfson Goes To War With MSNBC, Hammers Chris Matthews And Keith Olbermann

By Greg Sargent - August 27, 2008, 2:13PM

On Fox News just now, Howard Wolfson unleashed a broad attack on MSNBC and its top on-air personalities, slamming the network's coverage of Bill and Hillary, hitting back at Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman for using his work for Fox to question his Democratic credentials, and blasting MSNBC as having been "taken over" by "antics."

The broadside from Wolfson, who has until now refrained from publicly critiquing MSNBC despite months of deep unhappiness within Hillaryland about the network's coverage of her, is a declaration of open war against MSNBC and two of its most visible political commentators that likely will only escalate from here.

"I'm not gonna take any lectures on how to be a good Democrat from two people who spent the last two years relentlessly attacking Bill and Hillary Clinton everyday," Wolfson said on the air moments ago, when asked by the Fox anchor to respond to some criticism of Wolfson on MSNBC yesterday.

Wolfson's decision to unload on MSNBC was triggered by some particularly barbed comments about Wolfson from Olbermann and Matthews yesterday. Matthews slammed Wolfson as Fox's "little toy soldier," while Olbermann joked that Wolfson is Fox's "Tokyo Rose."

"I think it's unfortunate that a news organization with a great tradition like NBC has been taken over by those kind of antics," Wolfson said.

Shortly afterward, he added, "Nobody has spent more time over the last two years attacking Democrats than Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, and I'm just not going to get lectured on how to be a good Democrat from them."

3. oh god.
I don't watch Fox, but did anyone see what Wolfson's response to this was, because I only saw it on the Colbert report . The Colbert Report showed a clip of some Fox anchor interviewing Wolfson after Michelle's speech, and the anchor said "Well, about her patriotism issue...I was looking at her speech, and she said 'We cannot accept the world as is', and if you replace the word world with country, you are right back to the same issue!" I hope that the fucker Wolfson responded to that piece of trash, bc the WOlfson nodded his head at the anchor when she said that. And Colbert's response was "Yes, I know that I'm always offended when I REPLACE OTHER WORDS with the words that were actually in Michelle Obama's speeches." I don't trust that fucker Wolfson.

5. JUMPED the SHARK
I said it as it wore on, but Hillary's campaign was running as a flat out republican campaign by the end of the primary, and one BIG time republican trait is having a complete disconnect between what they say and do, and reality.

"Nobody has spent more time over the last two years attacking Democrats than Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, and I'm just not going to get lectured on how to be a good Democrat from them."

These clowns jumped the shark to FOX by April with their candidate, and by the time the campaign ended were lavishly calling Fox the most unbiased news network.

A DECADE, a god darned DECADE of Fox News painting Hillary Clinton as the human embodiement of the anti-christ. And, he sits here today painting KEITH OLBERMANN as a democrat basher. ALL the vile crape Fox News advanced for a DECADE about Hill and her husband.

Him and that sneaker wearing jaggoff ...

8. Obama supporters just can't let the primaries go, can they?
I guess those 18 million votes are a little hard to swallow.
